3rd Congress of the IA Centre and IFKAD 2009
The 3rd Congress of the Intellectual Assets Centre will combine its highly successful business facing conference with the international renowned IFKAD for the very first time in Glasgow on the 17th and 18th of February 2009.

This unique event will give delegates the unprecedented opportunity to hear and interact with international and national speakers and delegates from both business and academics on the topic of Innovation.
The Intellectual Assets Centre Congress will run over Day 1 of this joint event, on 17 February. It offers a highly focussed programme of sessions, designed to address the topics of real importance to both company and economic development in these challenging times – as well as the opportunity to attend any of the IFKAD sessions which are of professional interest.
The event will feature cutting edge keynote speakers such as Debra Amidon, Chair and CEO of Entovation International – a global innovation research and consulting network linking 90 countries – and a recognised world leader in the fields of knowledge management, customer innovation and enterprise transformation.
The Congress will be running masterclass workshops on the topics which really matter to today’s business economy such as how to use effective intellectual assets management to win business through procurement; links between university IP and research; and how to manage intangible assets in a recession.
At the same time, IFKAD promises a wide range of academic sessions from international speakers, all contributing to cutting edge debate on the field of knowledge capture. Contributions from international experts Leif Edvinsson, Goran Roos and JC Spender, as well as from Rob Huggins from the University of Cardiff, have already been confirmed in keynote slots – with academic paper authors being added soon.
