In The Eye of the Beholder

The IA Centre's first International Congress is dealing with the issues surrounding valuing and communicating the value of your organisation's IA.  Intangible assets have supplanted tangible assets as the key value drivers for all organisations. However, traditional accounting has remained focused on tangible assets.  As a result, vital assets go unrecognised and are neither measured nor managed and certainly their value is not fully recognised.  As the name of the Congress suggests value is in the eye of the beholder.
